Dinner at 5:30 PM | Program Begins at 6:00 PM
Do you love cats, the astrological cosmos, crafting, and connecting with fellow cosmic creatives?
Good. We do too.
Join us for an unforgettable evening where we combine all of our favorite things into one magical event: cats, astrology, screen printing, sewing, community, creativity, and delicious food.
We’ll begin the evening with a catered dinner from Latina Taste to Go, featuring burrito bowls and empanadas, before diving into a night of astrology, stitching, and cosmic connection.
Our resident feline friends will be free to supervise the festivities while participants create a one-of-a-kind Natal Chart Quilt Block using printing and stitching techniques. You’ll leave with a beautiful quilt block inspired by your unique cosmic blueprint—and contribute to a larger collaborative quilt celebrating our community’s connection to the stars.
Guiding us through the celestial landscape is our House Astrologer, Grace (@moonruledmami), who will help participants explore:
✨ The Big Three (Sun, Moon & Rising)
✨ All of your planetary placements and their meanings
✨ Houses (and House Rulers) and how they shape your life experience
✨ Current and upcoming transits affecting your chart
✨ Practical ways to work with your cosmic energy
Whether you’re brand new to astrology or can already recite your birth chart by heart, you’ll discover new insights while creating something tangible and meaningful with your own hands. Conversation and insights will expand to meet all skill-levels (yes, even those of you who are more advanced!)
Before we chart the stars, we’ll gather around the table for good food, good company, and cosmic conversation. After all, every great circle of creatives needs a shared meal before making magic. ✨

What to Bring
Your Natal Chart
We recommend downloading your free Traditional Western (Hellenistic) Whole Sign House birth chart through the Chani App before class.
To generate your chart, you’ll need:
Birth date
Birth location
Birth time (as accurately as possible)
No sewing or astrology experience required.
Come chart the stars, stitch your story, enjoy dinner with fellow cosmic cat lovers, and create a textile keepsake that celebrates your unique place in the universe.
Because sometimes the best way to understand your chart is to sew it. ✨🐾🪡🌙
Please Note
Cosmic Bobbins is a working textile studio and feline-friendly space. For this special event, our resident cats will be intentionally roaming the studio, with Josiah Sunny G. Bobbins serving as our official Master of Ceremonies.
Fun cosmic fact: Josiah arrived at our shop the same week Saturn entered Aries. Coincidence? We think not. 🐈♈️🪐✨
Participants with severe cat allergies should plan accordingly.
Space is intentionally limited to ensure personalized astrology guidance, plenty of sewing support, meaningful community connection, and maximum feline interaction.
