Does your child love fashion, creativity, and making things with their own hands? Cleveland Sews Fashion Camp Studio is a three-week immersive experience where young designers learn sewing, fashion design, garment decoration, and creative entrepreneurship in a fun, supportive studio environment.
Students will learn from experienced fashion professionals while developing confidence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to bring their ideas to life—from sketch to finished creation.
June 23–26
Students will learn the foundations of sewing, including:
Hand stitching and embroidery
Sewing machine operation and safety
Basic product construction methods (pillows and bags, y'all!)
Professional sewing terminology
Finishing techniques for polished projects
No prior sewing experience is required.
June 30–July 3
Students will begin thinking like fashion designers by learning:
Garment printing and embellishment (Hello, Camp T-Shirts!)
Design development
Pattern basics
Garment construction concepts
Fashion illustration and sketching
How clothing is developed from concept to creation
July 7–10
Fashion is more than making clothes—it's sharing your vision with the world. During the final week, students will explore:
Brand identity and storytelling
Creative problem-solving through developing design concepts
Product presentation and showcasing work
Creative entrepreneurship
Presenting their designs with confidence

✔ Fabric and project materials
✔ Daily snack
✔ Use of sewing machines and studio equipment
✔ Instruction from Cleveland Sews educators and fashion professionals
✔ Hands-on projects throughout the program
✔ Take-home projects and creations
Fashion Camp is led by Cleveland Sews educator and fashion designer Tyra Sledge of 6th Street Vintage, bringing real-world fashion industry experience directly into the classroom.
At Cleveland Sews, we believe sewing is more than a skill—it's a pathway to creativity, confidence, self-expression, and future opportunities. Students learn in an active textile and fashion studio where they gain hands-on experience while becoming part of a welcoming creative community.

Full Fashion Camp Studio Experience (All 3 Weeks): $675

Students should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. All sewing supplies, materials, equipment, and snacks are included.
Students learn in an active textile and fashion studio alongside Cleveland Sews educators and creative professionals. Our instructional team grows with enrollment to ensure students receive plenty of hands-on guidance and support throughout the program.
