Planning + Preparing Your Quilt

  • Learn tee shirt layout and quilt design

  • Understand the difference between knits, wovens, and interfacing

  • Prepare and stabilize tee shirts for quilting

  • Rotary cut shirt panels and sashing pieces

Module 2 | August 13

Piecing Your Quilt

  • Learn construction with machine piecing

  • Work with a quarter-inch piecing foot

  • Create and assemble quilt blocks

  • Build your quilt top panel by panel

Module 3 | August 20

Finishing Techniques

  • Explore hand quilting, machine quilting, and free-motion quilting

  • Learn how to create the quilt sandwich
